About wood wall art works
Although industrialization has brought great benefits to the human species, it is also true that this incessant race, by definition, has been ignoring or leaving aside everything that does not adapt to its structure. One of the consequences of this process, which has negatively affected us as a culture, is that we have progressively and constantly developed and continue to develop an enormous inability to find value, even reaching the point of contempt, for everything that does not easily conform to the standard.
One of the aims of my work is to make visible what is rejected, exploring the aesthetic value of what commonly, and especially industrially, would be considered imperfect, scrap or simply useless.
I work as an artisan under the concept that Art is an exercise in communication, not necessarily intellectual, that is achieved —occasionally— through the interaction of a work and an observer.
